We’ve heard from many LGBT+ people about their experiences with stigma and negative attitudes from people in their community and sometimes also from healthcare professionals.

In this video, Kayla shares her own experience of stigma when being treated for HIV. As a healthcare professional you have the ability to create inclusive environments that reduce stigma and help people access care.

See our page for more guidance on how to help LGBT+ people access health services
