Margaret's story: Life doesn't end with HIV

Video
Video thumbnail

Margaret Odera works as a community health worker and mentor mother in Nairobi, Kenya. Her greatest joy is seeing mothers with HIV deliver healthy babies and ensuring they stay HIV negative.

When women with HIV experience stigma in the community and sometimes even from healthcare professionals, it makes it hard for them to access sexual and reproductive healthcare, including antenatal care.

In this video, Margaret shares her own experiences and advice for healthcare professionals on creating inclusive environments that reduce stigma and help women access the care they need.
